Tile, Coping, and Pebble Choices

Tile - Continental Slate-Asian Black from Daltile
Coping - Clay Brick - Birch - Classic Pool Coping
Pebble - Sandy Beach
Spraycrete - Oyster
The pictures look really dark without the flash...and really light with it. The real look is somewhere in between.
I was driving around looking at model home pools, when I saw a paint color on a new house that I loved. We're going to be painting our house a new color, too. I drove by and there was a pool in the back. When I got out and looked, the brick was the perfect color, too! I was so worried about my decisions with these small pieces and there it was...right there in front of me. I felt so much better. I think it's going to look really nice.

Wow! Love the coping, tile and pebble finish choices! They seems to rich looking. Someone out here in CA (also a pool forum member) has tan tile and Black Pearl Pebbletec, so the opposite of your choices.

Kristen,
My wife and I are about to embark on building our 2nd pool. First was a fiberglass at our old home. All in all the purchase and install was a terrible experience. Put me off doing a pool for a few years. Very excited to see your progress and hope to learn alot from it. We live in Ocala FL and are trying to decide between several long time pool companies. Definitely concrete but still ironing out the details. Any resources you can recommend?
Michael,
I live in Southwest, Florida, so I'm sorry I can't help. I have been at a forum where someone may be able to help. Go to http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/pools/
It'a a great resource.
Are you a Bucs' fan?
Kristen
